Booking Policy

 

A debit card is required to book all appointments. Your credit card will be kept on file (your information will be concealed in an encrypted format which means that your information is confidential and safe). 

 

Important Online Booking Information

-Please do not book an appointment for another client under your profile! The appointment must be booked under that client’s profile and name only unless it’s a minor child.

-Your appointment time may be adjusted 15-30 min to optimize the service provider’s schedule. If scheduling is backed up for that particular day.

-Please note that a wash  is NOT included with a service unless you have chosen a service that states wash included if not then please add it on to your service front he drop box. 

-If you have a child who is also a client of Loc Doctor 601 DBA Locology Loc & Braid Studio and their account is merged with yours, please be aware that your credit card will also be on their account if they book their own service. 

-If you would like to book a color corrective service or would like to make a drastic change (i.e. from black hair to blonde hair) please call us so that we may ensure that the appointment is booked for the correct timing and service category. 

-Unfortunately, the following services cannot be booked online (please call Guest Services to schedule):

·       Exclusive Bridal Services for multiple clients at one timeframe.

·      Two strand loc extensions

·       Straight hair Locs installation

Salon  Important Information 

Cancellations

Kindly provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

By accepting and scheduling an online and/or over the phone appointment, you have given us permission to charge your credit card on file, if you fail to cancel less than 24 hours and/or fail to show up to your scheduled appointment. 

Please Note: You may be charged in FULL if you miss your appointment. You may be charged 50% of your total service cost if you cancel less than 24 hours.

 

Deposits

All deposits are NON refundable! If I’m sick  or have a emergency I will contact you for rescheduling time slots .

Deposits are as follows : $25 for retwist service and $35 for retwist & style options.

If you decide to pay for service in full that’s your choice. If you pay in full and don’t show you will not be refunded. But if you pay and it’s 24-48hrs before your appointment and you want to reschedule you won’t get a refund but your appointment can be rescheduled for any open slot available. Appointment must be rescheduled in that timeframe or you will forfeit your payment. If no show and want to book another appointment and new deposit must be paid.

Consultations 

Consultations are A REQUIREMENT for ALL NEW CLIENTS whether child or adult.

However, if you cancel less than 24 hours or fail to show up for your scheduled appointment time, there may be a $25 charge.

 

Instant locs / loc extensions/loc Reattachments

A wavier must be signed before work is started .

You will be provided care tips via text message or Facebook messenger during or after appointment. No refund is given for any reason. Remaining Payment is due upon sitting in chair in CASH before Rendering the service.

Before leaving salon we will make sure you are ok with services provide and you like the finished look if not alterations will be done at that time. If I’m case of any mishaps such as slippage, loosen, breakage from natural causes you have a week from date of  install to get fixed for no charge if after 1 week you will be charged for any adjustments.

Salon Service Adjustment Policy

Adjustments to booking will not be accepted the day of your appointment or while your already at your appointment. Any problems is addressed during your appointment timeframe before leaving salon. If you don’t like it will be corrected while still in salon after leaving salon their will be no alterations.

No Shows

Clients who fail to show for appointments or cancel /reschedule before appointment timeframe , may be asked to pre-pay in full for future services. First time, no show clients will be asked to pre-pay for future appointments. Second you will be banned from future bookings .

When To Arrive

Please plan to arrive on time for all appointments. There is a 10 min grace period only after that you will have to reschedule if I haven’t spoke with you prior and was made aware of your tardiness at least 1 to 2 hours prior to appointment time and gave the ok . But you will still be charged a late fee of $25 even if allowed to still come.

Late Arrival Policy

In order to remain on schedule for all our clients, we may have to work you in between other clients if applicable. A late fee is also added to appointment automatically of $25. If it’s second offense you will be banned from future bookings.

Children

Children under 10 years old, who are not receiving a service, must be supervised by an adult 18yrs or older , not receiving a service, and remain in the waiting area only . Children cannot accompany you to your Salon unless also receiving a service. Children under 10 are not allowed in dryer room area or stylist floor area at any time.

Children under 18 years old are considered a minor. A parent or guardian must be present (but not receiving a service) for the duration of the service. If you decide to leave child unsupervised inside the salon I’m not held liable in that case children need parents at all times.

 

This Is A Professional salon Establishment

If a service provider feels that a client is behaving inappropriately, they are authorized to stop the services  immediately at any given time.

Cell Phones

We want Locology Loc & Braid Studio  to be a stress-free experience for all. You conduct all phone conversations inside the waiting area .

For Your Protection

We regret that we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to personal articles including but not limited to clothing ,purses ,loose cash or accessories. Please keep your personal belongings on you at all times to prevent any lost or theft. Bags can allow be left inside your vehicles  if needed.

 

Salon- Only the clients receiving a hair service are allowed in the shampoo room area or at the styling stations in chairs . Other individuals MUST sit in designated waiting area.

Alcohol

No alcohol is allowed at Locology Loc & Braid Studio under any circumstances. We do not have a liquor license.

Food and Beverage

We are happy to provide complimentary coffee, and water from water dispenser. Sandwiches, meals, etc. are NOT permitted in salon areas (shampoo are, bathroom, dryer room, styling area ) and are discouraged in waiting areas.

Forms Of Payment Accepted

We are happy to accept Cashapp , PayPal ,Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Debit Cards, Cash and Gift Certificates. We do not accept personal checks or any forms of credit cards .

Gift Cards

Locology Loc & Braid Studio gift card policy complies with current Mississippi state law. Lost and stolen cards are not replaceable. Gift cards and coupons may have expiration date . Locology gift cards are honored for dollar value only.

Product Returns Or Exchanges

All products are handmade natural products and are NOT accepted for returns for any reason.  Products may contain nut , tea tree,peppermint,olive oil, coconut oil, lavender , clary sage ,water, vitamin E if allergies please do not purchase any products for safety reasons.

Online Purchases Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy describes the information we gather about you, and the purpose for which it is used. Locology Loc & Braid Studio will never sell your information to any third party.

Your private ordering information – including your credit card number – is encrypted using several keys for maximum security. Your credit card and billing information cannot be read as it travels to our ordering system (256 bit SSL encryption), and the numbers are unreadable to anyone trying to access the site remotely. The credit card information necessary to authorize an account is not stored by our systems and is only in use long enough to complete the associated transaction. The last four(4) digits of the credit card number are stored with transaction information for identification purposes. We have implemented the requisite physical, electronic, and managerial processes to prevent unauthorized access, and maintain data security.
